Honey Soap
Every soap is made utilising honey from my bees. Honey has antimicrobial qualities that allow cleansing of the skin without stripping the skin’s natural oils. Research has shown that the antimicrobial properties can assist with clearing up acne as well.
I make 4 types of honey soap, each with different properties for different uses.
Grubby Hands - this soap contains honey, ground pumice stone, bush balm mint and lemon on a goats milk soap base to clean the dirtiest of hands. Best of all it smells super fresh!
Exfoliating - containing honey, oatmeal and citrus on a goats milk soap base this soap is perfect for a lovely cleanse in the shower.
Moisturising - honey and the delicious scents of ylang ylang and lavendar or “passion” essential oils in these soaps offer a floral scent for a lovely moisturising clean.
Milk and Honey - containing only honey and goats milk this soap is perfect for those with sensitive skin or noses! Unscented, this soap has a light honey fragrance and is unobtrusive to the most sensitive nose. This soap contains the highest amounts of honey of any of the soaps, providing maximum benefits from the honey.
